PEMANFAATAN SISTEM PENJERNIH AIR HUJAN SEDERHANA UNTUK MENGURANGI BIAYA RUMAH TANGGA DALAM PENGGUNAAN AIR, MASYARAKAT DUSUN MLAKAN, DESA SAMBIREJO, KECAMATAN PRAMBANAN, SLEMAN

Abstract


One of the problems faced by the people of Mlakan, Sambirejo, Prambanan, Sleman is the amount of expenditure for the purchase of clean water. The purpose of this PbM program is to help ease the burden on the community of Mlakan  in utilizing clean water through a pilot project on the use of appropriate technology “Simple Rainwater Purifier” which was developed by BPPT and modified according to the situation in the program location. The construction is built with a cast frame at a cost of Rp. 8.5 million and was able to save an average of Rp. 1,67 million,- per year. On the basis of these calculations, the authors suggest that residents will set aside funds (saving) to be able to work on the Making of Simple Water Purifiers. It will be more interesting if the funding is done with the social gathering system, and the process is done with a system of Rp. 50 thousand per month, the author estimates that in every 4 months 1 rainwater purifier can be completed in the village.
